MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His global success has seen him enter mainstream Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received a Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song for 2017. in Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and also released ADN for his debut full-length album. The album reached the top of the charts at number eighteen on the Top Latin Albums charts. He then became part of Ozuna to record the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He collaborated together with Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and in the year following, he released his sophomore album the charting Dopamina. In 2021, he sang a duet. the singer sang a duet 2021 along with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo is from a musical background, both his mother and elder brother are musicians. In his interviews, he's described playing music as an obligation. When he was young, he instructed to play guitar, the piano and the ukulele. The first goal was to be an vet but when his brother Julian convinced to him take lessons with a Cuban musician, he rearranged his career plans.
